Dr. Hamza Naim

Dr. Hamza Naim is a multifaceted professional and academic with extensive experience spanning the financial markets, renewable energy, and corporate governance. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at K.R. Mangalam University, he combines his passion for research with his commitment to education in the financial sector. A B.Tech graduate in Electrical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, Dr. Naim has contributed significantly to India’s renewable energy landscape by successfully commissioning five solar sites with a combined capacity of up to 1 GW. His work in the solar energy sector underscores his technical expertise and commitment to sustainable development. In addition to his engineering accomplishments, Dr. Naim ventured into the financial sector, building substantial experience as an investor and stock trader. He holds an MBA in Finance and a PhD in Corporate Governance (Finance) from Aligarh Muslim University, further cementing his expertise in finance and governance. Dr. Naim is an avid researcher with several publications in reputed journals, showcasing his dedication to advancing knowledge in corporate governance and financial markets. Paula Tavangar is a seasoned entrepreneur and accomplished investment professional with a proven track record in venture capital, quantitative strategies, and fintech innovation. As Chief Investment Officer at Injaz Capital, Paula leads strategic investment initiatives, leveraging her deep expertise in identifying high-growth opportunities. Previously, Paula served as Principal at SwissBorg Ventures, where she focused on venture capital, driving impactful investments in innovative startups. Her entrepreneurial journey includes co-founding Genesis Capital LATAM, where she successfully managed the Quant Arbitrage Fund, consistently delivering alpha through cutting-edge quantitative strategies.
