About Yasmine Helal

Currently, at the helm of the ADI Consumer Finance Company, Yasmine Helal has played a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of digital banking in Egypt. Her illustrious career began in 2002 at Citibank, where she rose through the ranks, demonstrating her prowess in consumer technology.

From leading positions in Retail Banking Technology to managing the CitiPhone Contact Center and Retention Unit, Yasmine Helal’s journey has been marked by continuous innovation and leadership.

In 2018, Yasmine Helal assumed the role of Head of Digital Banking at ADIB, leading consumer digital transformation and the rollout of a mobile wallet to the market.

Her contributions have been instrumental in steering ADIB towards a more digitally integrated future. Yasmine’s commitment to digital innovation was further emphasized when she joined the Central Bank of Egypt in 2019 as the Head of Strategy, FinTech & Innovation.

Yasmine Helal is a graduate of the American University in Cairo, holding multiple academic degrees, including a double major in computer science and philosophy in 2002, a graduate diploma in computer science in 2005, an MSc. in Computing in 2010, and an Executive MBA in 2014.

Beyond her academic and professional achievements, Yasmine Helal is a certified Master Trainer and a certified professional trainer for “EXCEED Plus programs,” focusing on exceeding customer expectations, service excellence, and Client Excellence programs for enhancing internal and external clients’ management and coordination.

She is also a certified and accredited  PCC ICF coach specialized in life, relationship, addiction recovery, positive psychology, health & wellness coaching; as well as a mentor coach, showcasing her parallel passion for human development and growth.
